Announcing the 3rd Edition of the IGNITE Youth Awards
The Ignite Youth Awards are back for a third year, and we couldn’t be more excited! The purpose of the IGNITE Youth Awards is to honor and celebrate the achievements of socially responsible young people (aged 13 to 35) who have made significant positive contributions to society through a range of activities and who are good examples and embodiments of servant leadership.
To commemorate the annual International Day of Charity on September 5, we are pleased to announce that nominations are now open. Every year, organizations all across the world help to save and improve people’s lives by combating disease, protecting children, and giving thousands of people hope. Charity is essential because it allows us to reach out to more people in society and aid those who need it the most. This is why the International Day of Charity is so meaningful. It raises awareness about charity and the importance of assisting those in need.
The International Day of Charity aims to strengthen and improve social responsibility around the world by boosting our support for charity causes and uniting everyone in solidarity. This day is ideal for launching the IGNITE Youth Awards, which aim to recognize young people and organizations trying to make a difference in society.
Nominations must be submitted by Sunday, October 9, 2022. Experts and mentors will monitor and evaluate the nominations selection process, narrowing the field down to a final few young people or youth organizations in each category. Any interested party may make a nomination and people can also nominate themselves.
The winners in each category will be announced at the Celebration Center’s Jubilee Hall on Friday 9 December 2022, from 2 pm to 9 pm.
This year the awards are much bigger and better. Hip-hop prodigy Voltz JT will grace the event as the main act. There are also additional partners on board to demonstrate the significance of SDG 17, and this year there will be a People’s Choice Award component.
